How the Oaklee process works
Oaklee is an approved housing body with charitable, not-for-profit status, set up in 2001. Its cost rental homes so far are at The Sidings in Adamstown: 154 cost rental and 30 social homes delivered with Evara Ireland and South Dublin County Council. When the remaining apartments were re-advertised in January 2026, one-beds were €1,525 a month and two-beds €1,705, with no parking and no pets. Next is Harmen’s Rest on Turvey Avenue in Donabate, 163 homes across three blocks, a mix of cost rental and social housing with Fingal County Council. On 28 August 2026 Oaklee said applications there are expected to open in Q4 2026, with rents and dates to follow.
Oaklee’s process runs lottery first, documents second, like the LDA. You register interest through the application portal (for The Sidings, the Keyholder link on the advert) and every registration goes into the draw. Rent at no more than 35% of net income is used to stream applicants. If you are selected you have 72 hours to upload everything; Oaklee says the invitation is not an offer letter, and missing the deadline revokes it. After the assessment, approved applicants view the home and sign the lease, and Oaklee says moving in typically follows within about six weeks.
The document list follows the Housing Agency list with a few additions: PPS numbers for everyone in the household, three months of bank statements for every adult with the last three rent payments highlighted, and a copy of your lease if you rent. You can apply to several schemes but accept only one offer.
